Haggetts Pond Cleanup a Big success
Just a few of the many bags of trash collected.
On Saturday, September 14th, a group of the Friends of Haggetts Pond descended on the trail and beach area around Haggetts Pond to pick up trash left carelessly left on the trail and beachers. The Friends of HP arrived at 9:00 and within a couple of hours filled 16 bags of garbage in addition to removing a canoe and a beach chair. Dept. of Public Works hauled everything away. Thanks to all who came out on a beautiful day and did a fantastic cleanup for the community.
